These days travel is a luxury, gone are the days when you jump on a flight and travel safely anywhere in the world. Nowadays travelling is a little more complicated, so let’s have a look at the 10 most impressive but not always practical ways to travel around the world just for the sake of it.
We are starting with the Symphony of the Seas, the largest cruise liner in the world.
1.Symphony Of The Seas
Symphony of the Seas is the world’s largest and most valuable cruise ship. The Symphony is the 25th addition in Royal Caribbean’s magnificent fleet. This vast cruise ship weighs in at 228,081 tons and measures 1,188 feet long and 238 feet tall- built to impress, and it does.
Considered to be an all-round experience for the entire family the liner is currently cruising the Atlantic Ocean on it’s way to the Bahamas.
2.Bugatti La Voiture Noire
The Bugatti is the most expensive car in the world, making it an easy addition to the list. The luxury vehicle made its debut at the Geneva International Motor Show, the one-off prototype, La Voiture Noire, is priced at $18.68 million.
The only problem here is you can’t buy this car or rent it, there is only one at the moment, and at this price tag, it’s not surprising they are not rolling off the production line.
Long before Donald Trump became president and had access to Air Force One, he relied on his $100 million Boeing 757 for air travel. The luxury jet can carry more than 200 passengers, making it the world’s most extensive and most expensive flying office.
The president’s jet may be the most photographed and widely written about mode of transport in the history of the world right now.
4.Trek Butterfly Madone – Cycle
Coming in fourth place is the Trek Butterfly Madone which was sold at auction for $500,000, this might be the most expensive bike in the world that you can’t ride. The cycle is a piece of art by Damien Hirst.
The bike hangs on the wall of a multi-millionaire somewhere in the world. This cycle is not a practical option for your travel problems.
5.Agusta-Westland AW119Ke – Koala Helicopter
The Koala is used by law enforcement in the US, but it can be adapted to provide accommodation to a group of corporate directors travelling on business. The most expensive helicopter in the world has premium leather upholstery and can comfortably seat 6 passengers and 2 operators.

Another expensive and not at all practical form of transport is the Supreme Mundi Skateboard. It was created by British artist Adrian Wilson, the $20,000 Supreme Mundi. Is a board made from a wooden artist’s palette and emblazoned with an artist’s take on the Supreme skate logo.
7.By Train on the Venice Simplon-Orient-Express
No other train journey evokes romance and adventure, quite like the famous Venice Simplon-Orient-Express, a traditional way to travel. Tickets cost more than $4,000 one way.
