The first weekend of the annual three-day festival kicked off on Friday in the desert city of Indio where attendees enjoyed watching performances by Lady Gaga, Kendrick Lamar, Radiohead, Future, Bon Iver, Lorde, The XX, and many more. Despite the unrelenting desert heat, black was a popular hue at this year’s Coachella Valley Arts and Music Festival, along with coordinated separates, rompers and florals. And every occasionally, the best outfits at Coachella will set the sartorial stage for the months to come.
