Traveling in 2017 – Make Sure Your Smartphone Pack These Features

Whether you’re going on a month-long backpacking excursion through Europe or just spending a long weekend at a tropical beach, having a high-quality phone to bring along is important for a number of reasons. You’ll need a phone to navigate unfamiliar surroundings, take pictures and videos of your experiences, and make calls in the event of an emergency. If your phone isn’t reliable, you might find that you’re missing out on the convenience and simplicity that modern technologies have to offer.

For example, you’ll want a phone that has excellent camera capabilities to record all of your fun. Make sure yours works well in both high and low light, can accurately capture landscape photos, and has a high-resolution front-facing camera for selfies. To store all of these pictures, do a check on your phone’s storage capacity. You’ll want at least 32GB. Look into adding extra storage if you’d like to store music, movies, or podcasts to entertain you on long plane rides. Additional things you might want to consider are adding a SIM card for your local destination, setting up a lock screen for protection, and investing in a hard-shell, waterproof case to prevent unfortunate accidents.

If you need to upgrade to a better phone, be on the lookout for Apple iPhone 7 deals. The more you save on a new phone, the more you can spend on your upcoming vacation. The iPhone 7 has a 4.7″ Retina HD display, a new 12MP wide-angle rear camera, and a 7MP FaceTime HD front camera.
