Fiji – Island of Love

Fiji, officially the Republic of Fiji, is an island nation in Melanesia in the South Pacific Ocean about 1,100 nautical miles (2,000 km; 1,300 mi) northeast of New Zealand’s North Island. Its closest neighbors are Vanuatu to the west, France’s New Caledonia to the southwest, New Zealand’s Kermadec to the southeast, Tonga to the east, the Samoas, France’s Wallis and Futuna to the northeast and Tuvalu to the north.

These are the reasons Fiji is becoming more and more popular for honeymooners. Especially couples coming from Australia and New Zealand. Most local travel agencies will have great deals on hotels and airline tickets to Fiji because of how close they are. Many Aussies will recommend spending the week on this beautiful island. The pearl white beaches, turquoise water, flowers and warm water are all reasons why you should choose this destination for a dream vacation.
